Blanchard family visual materials. ca. 1860s-1950s.

Nathan A. Cobb's visual materials include family and friends as well as scientific apparati, plants, nematodes, and landscapes he encountered while working for the New South Wales Department of Agriculture, the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Drawings and sketches of plants and nematodes (some created by Alice V. Cobb) are also included. Frank N. Blanchard's visual materials (created with Frieda Cobb Blanchard) represent friends and family research at the University of Michigan Biological Station (and elsewhere), and various species of snakes and salamandra among others in photographs and drawings. The Grace Blanchard Iverson papers incldue additional materials.
